Pretty Lavender Sugar!
This is going to be so good in earl grey tea, with a splash of vanilla!
1 tbs Dried Lavender
for each:
1 cup Sugar
Use a mortar and pestle (or I’m sure a food processor would work fine too), to grind down the lavender a little. I also added some sugar into the mix to aide in the grinding the process. Combine the ground lavender and sugar in a airtight jar. Shake well, and let sit for 24 hours. Sift out the lavender bits if they bother you, or leave them if they don’t. Though if you are going to sift out the lavender, I would suggest leaving the sugar sit much longer before using it, so that the lavender has enough time to impart its flavour.
Add sugar into tea, or use in baking. If you’ve got a vanilla bean laying around, Lavender-Vanilla sugar sounds good too! I’m thinking that lavender simple syrup would be nice as well…

I love Lander so this sounds perfect for me! thank you, your blog is beautiful!
Thanks!
